B-hush Bar

In Kyiv, the capital's most fashionable rooftop lounge bar, b-hush, has sweeping views of the city which are especially dramatic at night. Eliminating reflections from the lounge's interior lighting presented a challenge that was overcome, with Ayala making extensive use of indirect lighting, illuminated table tops and backlit fretwork panels, creating an effect that essentially brings the city inside.

This rooftop bar features sumptuous leather seating, marble floors, wenge panelled walls and expansive sliding glass walls making b-Hush one of the city's most fashionable nightspots.

Neptune

This sumptuous lounge bar on the 1st floor of the Intercontinental hotel Kyiv, features a large oil on canvas painting of Neptune in a gilded frame set in crotch mahogany raised and fielded panelling. The ornate bar with its ebonized columns and gilded brass details houses a wine display and a cedar lined humidor. The interior is highlighted by deeply pleated leather, fabric sofas and bergère chairs on custom-designed black and gold carpeting. Mood lighting - is provided by Georgian chandeliers with black silk shades and matching wall sconces creating an intimate interior for this exclusive bar.

Teatro

Approached through its wrought iron gated entrance the Opera Hotel Kyiv's restaurant Teatro features a refrigerated wine display in a cellar like setting with comfortable seating. Through the arch and down a few steps is the main dining room, a colonial styled glazed terrace providing a convivial setting for relaxed Italian dining.

The room features ceiling-mounted punkah fans, glazed and shuttered windows, period joinery details, rattan-backed furniture and subtle lighting.

Brasserie Des Artistes

Comme Il Faut

For the lavish Comme Il Faut restaurant in the Intercontinental hotel Kyiv, Ayala designed a vaulted ceiling in the classic European style discreetly integrating the air-conditioning system and other services into the architectural elements and reflecting the exterior architecture style inside.

A subdued color palette makes use of grey and white marble floors accented with mahogany doors and classic French furniture. The grey walls, white shutters, carefully selected artwork and nickel-plated crystal chandeliers provide finishing touch of elegance to this traditional French dining room.

OLIVERA

Kyiv Intercontinental hotel all day dining restaurant the Olivera presented Interiors International with a design challenge. It was necessary to construct the restaurant in a long, narrow space while meeting the operator's requirement for an open kitchen and extensive buffet display. The Mediterranean-themed restaurant makes wide-ranging use of natural oak panelling, warm colors and inviting lighting that creates an ambience that is as comfortable during the с day as it is at night.

FUSION

Fusion is an Oriental restaurant in the Donbass Palace Hotel Donetsk with an open kitchen at its heart. The kitchen is neatly integrated into the restaurant interior with a granite topped front bar at which guests can eat while at the same time providing the chefs with a fully operational kitchen.

A tatami room with sunken floor provides the possibility of a private dining experience, while the main dining area is divided by glazed Japanese-style screens creating intimate corners and a degree of privacy.

The restaurant makes comprehensive use of maple panelling, granite and wenge flooring, silk wallpapers and custom made furnishings. The effect is one of relaxed elegance.

Viena Cafe
